Cultural activities to be held at subvenues

MORE than 300 cultural activities will be staged at the 67 subvenues of the 14th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) from May 10 to 14.

A culture plus science summit, called The Dialogue of Made in China 2025 and German Industry 4.0, will be held at F518 Creative Industrial Park in Bao’an District, bringing the latest information about the industries and exploring new business operation modes.

The Dingjunshan Digital Movie Culture, Science and Creation Industrial Park will highlight the use of high technology in on-demand film playing, showing the upgrading and optimization in playing films. Fantawild will present two movies of special effects, a huge-screen 4-D movie and a circular-screen movie, to manifest the glamour of China’s civilization and operas.

Some subvenues will promote the convergence of culture and tourism.

The T8 Tourism Creation Park in Futian Free Trade Zone will organize a dozen of Tourism Plus activities. The China Tourism Records, a key project in China’s culture and tourism sector, will be launched during the ICIF, and some agreements involving tourism projects will be signed.

The Yilifang Gifts Culture Industrial Park will hold the second tangible culture exposition and an agreement-signing ceremony to promote culture plus tourism cooperation between Shenzhen and Guizhou.

This year’s ICIF will expand cooperation with overseas enterprises and institutions.

Shenzhen University Creation Park will host a Shenzhen tangible culture exhibition and performance in Brisbane, Australia. It will organize road shows and cultural experience activities in Australia through the Shenzhen-Brisbane International Creation and Incubation Center.

The Capital of Design Creation Park in Tianmian in Luohu District will organize the second Shenzhen Australia Creation Week, a creative design contest and a convergence development forum.

To promote inheritance and development, some subvenues will host traditional cultural activities with distinctive Chinese characteristics, style and manner.

The 2013 Culture Maker Park and Shenzhen Cantonese Opera Troupe have signed an agreement to promote local culture through the Internet, fashion and new media industries. The Silk Park of China will introduce traditional cultural relics and performances to visitors.
