The grand opening of the 15th ICIF

On May 16, the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) opened in Shenzhen with a total of 2,312 government organizations, enterprises and institutions, more than 21,000 overseas exhibitors from 103 countries and regions came to participate, exhibit and purchase.

The 15th ICIF will last for 5 days, the main exhibition hall is located in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center which covers an area of about 105,000 square meters, among which the overseas exhibitors account for 20%. The main venue contains 9 halls, and the ‘Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Great Bay Area Cultural Industry Hall’ is set up for the first time this year, which displays the achievements of cultural innovation and development in Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions and 9 cities of Guangdong province. In addition, there are 66 sub-venues in Shenzhen holding various exhibition and supporting activities.

The number of the exhibitors has reached a new high in the 15th ICIF, with 2,312 government organizations, enterprises and institutions, 4 more than last year. This fair has attracted 132 overseas institutions from 50 countries and regions in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America and Oceania, accounting for 23.5% of the total area. More than 21,000 overseas exhibitors from 103 countries and regions including the United States, Britain and France were invited to participate, exhibit and purchase in the fair. It will be the 10th time for all the 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions and the 6th time that all the 21 cities in Guangdong province participating in the ICIF.
According to introducing, the specialization, marketization and internationalization of the 15th ICIF will be further improved by gathering more than 100,000 cultural and creative exhibits; nearly 6,000 product investments and financing projects will be displayed and traded on-site.
