Internet giant Tencent recently released its streaming site subscription figures of the end of September. And the numbers are impressive.

As of the end of the third quarter, Tencent Video had 82 million subscriptions, up 79 percent year on year and 10 percent quarter on quarter.

The rise was mainly propelled by hit dramas -- Legend of Fuyao, Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace and Sand Sea, and the animated series Land of Warriors.

The runner-up with 14.3 billion views was Legend of Fuyao-- a fantasy epic starring actress Yang Mi as a young woman who rises from being a humble servant to becoming a powerful warrior.[Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]
